Following on from ongoing success in 2018, we were delighted to hear that Spectrum Service Solutions, founded by WeDO member Sara Spiers, has been crowned a winner of two awards in the Scottish heats of the Chamber Business Awards 2018. Now in their 15th year, the Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, recognising the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.
Spectrum won not only one, but two of the regional awards of ‘High Growth Business of the Year’ and ‘Customer Commitment’, and will now go forward to represent Scotland in the national finals, which take place in London in November.
Francis Martin, President of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) said:
“Businesses are the engines of the UK economy – creating opportunities and prosperity in our towns, cities and counties. Even in these turbulent times, they continue to show their adaptability, resilience and strength.
Every year our judges are impressed by the calibre of entries, and this year was no different. All our finalists should be proud to reach this stage given the stiff competition among our diverse and enterprising pool of applicants.
The Chamber Business Awards are the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our business communities’ achievements, to take stock of the great performances of UK businesses over the past year, and to encourage and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.”
Spectrum Service Solutions is an acclaimed company specialising in contract cleaning, facilities management, specialist and event cleaning contracts. Their services are tailored to the needs of each specific business, ensuring a high-quality service from a skilled and dedicated workforce.
Sara Speirs, Managing Director of Spectrum Service Solutions said:
“2018 has been a fantastic year so far for Spectrum. Not only have we opened two new offices in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, but we have also worked at some great international events such as The Glasgow 2018 European Championships alongside winning exciting new contracts at the likes of the new V&A Museum in Dundee.
We are delighted to have been awarded two titles for the Scottish region of the Chamber Business Awards 2018. Our fantastic team, clients and partners have always been at the core of our success and we look forward to seeing what the remainder of 2018 holds for the business.”
We wish Sara and all the team at Spectrum the very best of luck in November.
