WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Rocket is a business simulation game that offers teams and individuals dynamic, experiential learning in rich and challenging ways to understand how business and organisations grow and work.  The game is great fun to play, which is why we’re including it in our Conference this year as something a little bit different to the norm.  There are many worthwhile takeaways for all players and you’re guaranteed to learn something about yourself!

The game itself consists of running a confectionery manufacturing business. You’ll be split into five teams which make up different departments of the business. Each department has duties that they must perform in order to keep the business running, as well as ideally generating profits, but they must also work together to learn how they each contribute to the business’s overall success. 

In this micro-taster session, the players will have time to run the business for 26 minutes at a time, with each minute representing a week of business trading. If you’re lucky and manage to make it through, you might just have a chance of running the business for a further 6 months! After each round, you’ll hear an overview of the performance of the business against your objectives but, be warned, – there’s nowhere to hide and the stats don’t lie!
