MEET THE HOSTS

MARC VOSILIUS, CORPORATE ADVISORY/ENTREPRENEURIAL SERVICES

An Award-winning Chartered Accountant, Marc joined French Duncan in 2014, bringing with him significant experience in undertaking audits for a range of businesses across the manufacturing, property and utilities sectors.

Over the past five years, Marc has led a number of diligence exercises for both external funders and purchasers. Clients benefit from Marc’s extensive commercial exposure and experience in sale mandates, as well as his corporate financial expertise which has seen him work on projects encompassing business planning, projections and grant applications.

Marc prides himself on offering a tailored approach to each individual client. Having grown up in a family business environment, he is particularly aware of the protocols and matters which must be considered in both family and smaller owner-managed businesses.

STEPHEN OATES –  Corporate Tax Director

Stephen began his career working for a short time at HM Revenue & Customs as an Administrative Officer before joining an independent CA practice as a tax assistant dealing with all tax compliance issues and identifying tax planning opportunities. Three years later, he was appointed as tax manager to a mid-tier accountancy practice, where he remained for six years, before joining French Duncan in 2015 in the same role.

Stephen has gained extensive experience of working for both personal and corporate tax clients which enables him to give more comprehensive tax advice. He has gained exposure throughout his career to all aspects of Employment taxes and has added to this expertise through completing numerous Employment tax review and due diligence reports. Stephen has also been heavily involved with giving advice, both technical and compliance based, on all aspects of employment related securities which covers both tax advantaged scheme such as EMI, SIP, CSOP and non-tax advantages schemes.

ANDY REYNOLDS –  WEALTH MANAGER

Andy has been in financial services for over eight years, and has experience in various guises advising individuals and companies how to protect and make the best use of their financial assets.  His clients include business owners, wealthy families, trusts, retirees and corporate entities.

He holds a range of professional qualifications including Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Pension Transfer Specialist.  He is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and he is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Andy joined French Duncan in July 2019 and enjoys helping clients throughout Scotland.  He is passionate about providing clarity and simplicity to financial planning, and a keen proponent of evidence-based investment strategies.
