"Clearly" an effective way to bring more events business to Scotland
Our partners and members The Fusion Group?has launched Clearly Scotland, a refreshingly new destination management service. ?Already a well-established and successful Scottish hospitality, Fusion is tapping into Scotland?s increased flight accessibility from throughout North America and Western & Central Europe, to launch a revolutionary new destination management service dedicated to securing and bringing new business to Scotland.
?Clearly Scotland? is so named because it will be fully transparent on all aspects of pricing and service, unlike most in the market. A further strength of Clearly Scotland is in its personnel, with Directors Alex McKie and WeDO member Stuart Evans jointly heading up the new brand. They are joined by a committed and experienced team of Event and Project Managers who between them have over sixty years of industry experience.
?We are hugely excited to launch Clearly Scotland,? said Stuart Evans. ?We feel our concept of a completely transparent service with no over inflated pricing and made up margins will make Scotland more affordable to international groups. With the increased amount of flights coming into Scotland from global destinations the time is right to capitalise on this increased accessibility and affordability.?
Alex McKie added: ?Clearly Scotland will negotiate, secure and manage international groups, conferences, incentives, product launches, activities and logistics of all sizes, offering a complete door to door service. ?Scotland as a product and a destination has a huge appeal globally but has historically been over priced by middle men, meaning that business on a budget has simply gone elsewhere,? he said. ?We will operate on a truly transparent basis, or if you like ?Clearly”.?
The Clearly Scotland team plans to concentrate on establishing and building up the new brand overseas for the next twelve to eighteen months. Conservative estimates are that it will generate several millions of pounds worth of new business for Scotland over the coming years.
Fusion also plans to launch two other new brands using the transparent pricing concept – Clearly London and Clearly Europe.
?Like the Scottish model, we are already dealing extensively with these locations, it would be crazy not capitalise in these markets at the same time, ?said Alex McKie. ?We are optimistic once again that our creative approach, our people, our knowledge, our experience and our extensive connectivity will stand us in good stead as we roll out these new creative brands and services.?
We wish Stuart, Alex and all the team the very best of luck, which, given their track record is bound to be a huge success.
