Debbie Byers of Speaker Buzz & Beeline PR joins our Executive Team

We’re delighted to announce that Debbie Byers, founder of the purpose-led motivational speaker agency, Speaker Buzz and the strategic communications business, Beeline PR, has joined our Executive Team.  Debbie is replacing Liz Hoskin of Positive Qualities who we thank for her hard work and contribution for the past 4 years.

It was a love of storytelling and representing inspiring people that influenced Debbie to create Speaker Buzz.  The purpose-led motivational speaker agency is on a mission to inspire change, representing speakers dedicated to improving people’s wellbeing, creating a more diverse and purposeful workforce and protecting the plant.  Speakers have been supporting global businesses during the pandemic including Coca-Cola, Facebook, Sky, Edrington, ScottishPower, TVSquared and Standard Life.

With more than 20 years’ experience in public relations, stakeholder communications and issues management, Debbie is also a senior PR consultant with broad-ranging industry expertise gained through leading agencies in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow working across corporate, business-to-business and consumer clients, creating many award-winning campaigns. She set up Beeline PR in September 2011 and her husband Jim is a fellow director.

Committed to driving standards in the PR industry, Debbie was Chair of Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in Scotland 2009/10 and was winner of CIPR Best PR Consultant Under 30 in Scotland in 1998 … in her own words, a long time ago!
