2024 Conference ‘Voyages and Visions: Strategies for Success & Growth

After the success of our 2023 Conference, we’re back again this year, better than ever!  Taking place on Wednesday the 6th of November at Edinburgh Academicals The Place in Stockbridge, this event will bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders and experts from diverse industries to share their experiences, insights and strategies for success.

INSIGHTS

We will be joined by six outstanding keynote speakers who will be sharing inspiring entrepreneurial stories of success and growth strategies, as well as thought-provoking insights and experiences.  We will hear about the challenges they’ve faced, as well as their innovation insights – there will be no rose-tinted glasses journey sharing!  We are conscious that few of us enjoy listening to long speeches, therefore each speaker will therefore talk for 20 minutes, followed by a 5 minute Q & A.

We will also be hearing the views and opinions of experts on our “Business & the Economy’ and “Funding & Investment’ panels which will be a fascinating opportunity to hear the views of key movers and shakers from the media and business in Scotland.  The sessions will be interactive and incorporate Q & As, giving you ample opportunity to ask questions & join in the discussions.

Our ‘In Conversations’ are hosted by WeDO Chairman, Richard Simpson, who will be chatting with two legendary and outstanding guests discussing their entrepreneurial journeys, analogies between sport and business, lesson learnt along the way and how they have overcome challenges.  There will once again be the opportunity for you to ask questions at the end of each chat.

NETWORKING

There will be two and half hours during the day to mix and mingle with fellow attendees followed by a Drinks Reception to close the event. We limit overall numbers to enhance networking opportunities and ensure participation is maximised for all attendees.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

The Conference is open to members, with a limited number of 25 non-members tickets available on a strictly first come, first served basis.

Tickets include a breakfast roll, juice, tea/coffee on arrival, morning and afternoon breaks with coffee/tea and snacks, a hot 2 course lunch and a complimentary drink at the Drinks Reception.

A VAT invoice will be issued once you have booked your ticket.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tickets can be cancelled and refunded by emailing [email protected]. We regret that any tickets cancelled after noon on Wednesday 23rd October will not be applicable for refunds for any reason.  Tickets can be transferred to a different name until Friday 1st November at 5pm by emailing [email protected]
