Our Networking Breakfasts are popular events which give attendees the opportunity for high quality networking for a full hour, as well as hear an inspiring entrepreneurial journey or from a relevant topic expert. Welcoming, beneficial, fun and outstanding networking opportunities is how guests describe our Breakfasts which take place monthly in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We’re delighted to be welcoming Heather Pownall of Heather’s Media Hub to this month’s breakfast. Heather is an award-winning media and marketing consultant known for her brilliant ideas! With over 25 years of experience in publishing and media, she knows how to get your message out there so that you can be seen and heard by the right people. When it comes to incorporating social media into a marketing strategy, Heather’s skills and expertise speak for themselves, not least as an in-demand speaker throughout the UK – driven by her enthusiasm and entertaining style. We’re looking forward to her sharing her top tips and advice on “Test, post, analyse, rinse and repeat – The realities of social media marketing”.

Heather will give a fast-paced overview of why social media should be embedded in your marketing strategy from the start, the pitfalls to avoid and some feature highlights for success. There’s a lot to unpack in 20 minutes, so buckle up! Don’t miss this event where as well as gaining expert advice on all things social media, you’ll love hearing from Heather, her bubbly personality and enthusiasm is infectious.

Heather is a digital marketing strategist with a love for podcast production and storytelling, empowering brands with innovative and engaging content ideas, and helping them see the bigger picture. Heather is here to see your projects through from beginning to end, guiding you every step of the way. Heather founded Heather’s Media Hub nearly 6 years ago, it’s a dynamic consultancy firm that offers bespoke services tailored to each client, creating the right messaging for the right audiences and creating a plan to power up your digital marketing.

Services Heather and her team provide to clients include: marketing audits, marketing strategy and planning, content writing and creation, commercial consultancy, video production, podcast production,copy writing, website design and content and live event coverage – content engine with live podcasts/recordings.

Clients include associations, events and service-based businesses, both nationally and internationally with core client groups in medical societies, associations and bodies, as well as events companies, magazine publishers, and charities.

As well as running her own company, Heather sits on the board of The Ethical Coaching Company, has recently accepted the role of Commercial Director for The Grub Street Journal, she also represents the IoD Scotland Fife and Tayside Branch as the PR and Comms ambassador and offers free consultancy hours to the CIC company The Ootsider to support their mission to help rough sleepers in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Previously, Heather worked with international, award-winning magazines; she was heavily involved in shaping these titles and the commercial success they achieved.

TICKET PRICE

The ticket price of £23 + VAT for members and £28 + VAT for non-members. The ticket price includes tea/coffee and a bacon roll or pastries. Please select your choice when booking your ticket.

A VAT invoice will be issued once you have booked your ticket. Please note that ticket sales end at 5pm on Tuesday 16th of April.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tickets can be cancelled and refunded by [email protected]. We regret that any tickets cancelled after 2pm on Thursday 11th April will not be applicable for refunds for any reason. Tickets can be transferred to a different name until Wednesday 17th April at 2pm by [email protected]
