Glasgow Supper Club Round Table
28 February 2023
6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Our Supper Clubs are one of our most popular events and last year, every one sold out more than a week in advance of the event. Due to demand, we added an additional 3 Supper Clubs which also sold out. Watch the video at the foot of this page to find our what some of the attendees at one of our Glasgow Supper Clubs had to say about the event.
For our first Supper Club of 2023, we’re shaking things up a little and changing the format. 2023 is going to be an economically challenging year which is likely to impact all of us and our businesses. To that end, we felt it would be beneficial to have a round table Supper Club giving attendees the opportunity to share the biggest challenge they are facing in their businesses and for us to discuss as a group and brainstorm potential solutions. Think of it as an Agony Aunt for your business – expert advice from those who know – your fellow entrepreneur and business leader peers. Our Edinburgh event in this format was a huge success and everyone left with great ideas, advice and tips to implement in their businesses.
Sharing knowledge, ideas and experience is at the heart of our ethos and this event will give all attendees ample opportunity to benefit from advice from fellow members. Chatham House rule will apply ensuring confidentiality. No doubt there will be plenty of interesting conversations to be had, in addition to a fantastic opportunity to get to know your fellow members better in an intimate and trusted environment. We are in the process of finalising the venue of the Kelvin Dining Room at The Western Club on Royal Exchange Square and will confirm this asap. It’s very handy for both Queen Street and Central stations so it’s very accessible for anyone travelling from outwith Glasgow.
Here’s what members had to say about a previous Glasgow Supper Club.
ABOUT SUPPER CLUBS
Our Member Supper Clubs are participative, relaxing evenings enjoying good conversations, enabling members to get to know one another, hear from inspirational speaker or benefit from round table discussions.
Places are strictly limited to 14 people with tickets available for members on a first come first served basis. By keeping these events intimate, we ensure there are plenty of opportunity to ask questions as well as an open forum where all attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the emerging themes from the speaker as well as their own experiences. Shared experiences are at the heart of WeDO, ‘individually we can be successful, together we can be extraordinary’ and Supper Clubs give us the opportunity to do just that!
