Our Supper Clubs are one of our most popular events and always sell out every month. They’re informal, relaxed evenings and are the perfect mix of inspiration, good food and great conversations. They give members the best opportunity to get to know their fellow members, meeting those they’ve not met and catching up with those they do. This month, we’re delighted to be welcoming Bryan Redpath,
Bryan is a well kent face in rugby circles, having enjoyed an illustrious career winning 60 caps for Scotland, captaining the team 26 times and playing in 3 rugby world cups in 1995, 1999 and 2003. Prior to playing for Scotland, he captained Melrose for 2 years, South of Scotland, Scotland Under 18s, Under 21s and A games. A plethora of opportunities to hone his outstanding leadership skills and expertise!
Having announced his retirement from playing in 2005, he moved into coaching roles, spending 7 years with Gloucester Rugby, 3 years with Sale Sharks and Yorkshire Carnegie for 2 years.
Since leaving the rugby world in 2018, Bryan spent 4 years working in the deliverable Foreign Exchange Sector, advising on bespoke FX risk management strategies. An interesting development for a man who left school at 15 and last worked in business as a joiner for 8 years before turning pro on the rugby field!

Alongside his role with Jackson Swiss Partners, Bryan joined London Scottish as Director of Rugby in April 2022. We are all aware of the overlap between the worlds of business and sport; there is none better than Bryan to share his thoughts and insights. Having found himself captaining teams from a very young age, he had to learn fast in the most competitive of environments. A highly personable, insightful and great fun person, Bryan will share his journey with good humour and will be delighted to answer questions during his chat. ABOUT SUPPER CLUBS
In Edinburgh, they are held in the private dining room of the 6th floor 1820 Rooftop Bar at the Johnnie Walker Princes Street with breathtaking views of the city and access to the outdoor roof terrace.
Places are strictly limited to 14 people with tickets available for members on a first come first served basis. By keeping these events intimate, we ensure there are plenty of opportunity to ask questions as well as an open forum where all attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the emerging themes from the speaker as well as their own experiences. Shared experiences are at the heart of WeDO, ‘individually we can be successful, together we can be extraordinary’ and Supper Clubs give us the opportunity to do just that!
