March New Media Breakfast – LinkedIn: Connect to opportunities for you & your business

LinkedIn is THE business networking platform.  It’s also a major publishing platform and it’s the best place to find and connect with people who are relevant to you and your business.  Whether you’re operating in the B2B, B2C or Charity sector, LinkedIn will be useful to you because it connects people to people in a meaningful way and gives you an excellent opportunity to engage both personally, as well as with your target business audience.

Although gaining in popularity every day, it is still relatively uncrowded and comparitively easy to get your message in front of relevant people.  And, even though the numbers are growing on a daily basis, many people don’t fully understand how it works or how to make it work for them, therefore the people who understand it and do it well will be the biggest winners.

The March New Media Breakfast will take a close look at LinkedIn and explore why it is such a powerful networking platform.  We will also take a look at the recent changes and additions to the platform and we will review some thrid-party applications that can enhance your use of LinkedIn.

Of course like any platform, LinkedIn is only as useful as you make it, so we will take a close look at what you need to do to optimise your LinkedIn personal profile and what you can do to attract relevant people to you.

This will be a very useful session for anyone with a LinkedIn profile, especially those using it to try to find new connections and create meaningful engagement.  The session will be presented in an easy-to-understand manner that will enable you to get the best from your LinkedIn in the future.
