OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS

Our Networking Breakfasts are popular events which give attendees the opportunity for high quality networking for a full hour, as well as hear an inspiring entrepreneurial journey or from a relevant topic expert.  Welcoming, beneficial, fun and outstanding networking opportunities is how guests describe our Breakfasts which take place monthly in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We’re delighted to be welcoming a remarkable young entrepreneur who is taking the removals, storage and shipping sector in Scotland by storm.  Adam Sinclair is a former Scotland Rugby under-20s & professional rugby player who has enjoyed considerable success after switching his rugby boots for the world of business.  His ambition and talent knows no bounds and we’re thrilled Adam is joining us at this breakfast to share the ups and downs of his incredible entrepreneurial journey to date.  You won’t fail to be both impressed and inspired by Adam, he is the epitome of a driven, tenacious and ambitious entrepreneur.

ABOUT ADAM

Adam’s journey to the removals and storage sector has been far from straight forward.  After leaving Loretto School in 2011, he signed his first professional rugby contract in South Africa with Western Province Academy.
From there, he moved to France for four years to play for Perpignan and Albi before returning to the UK where he played on loan with Bristol, London Irish and Rotherham.

“Having moved location so many times in 6 years, I saw an opportunity, so I packed in my rugby dream and started my own removals and storage company, Sterling Sinclair Removals.”

He started with one truck and rented storage space, which has rapidly expanded into one of the biggest removals, storage and shipping groups in Scotland.  Sterling Sinclair Removals and Storage was set up in 2016 and Adam has grown the business via numerous acquisitions.

Larbert Carriers in Falkirk was their first foray into acquisitions in August 2019, followed by Letford Removals two years later, Britannia Edinburgh 10 months ago and most recently, this summer, Glen Transport in Tillicoultry which is celebrating its 50th year in business this year.

Additionally, Adam has 2 large storage facilities  – Edinburgh Self Store with a 1.4 acre site less than a mile from Haymarket and Stirling Self Storage, a 2 acre space in the shadow of Stirling Castle. Never one to rest on his laurels, he is already in the process of developing more storage facilities.
