Our Networking Breakfasts take place monthly in Edinburgh and Glasgow and offer a fantastic opportunity to spend a full hour networking, we alternate each month between an entrepreneurial speaker who will share their journey (including challenges faced – no rose tinted glasses overviews!) and topic based, where the speaker will share their expertise and tips on a specific subject.  Places are limited to 50 to enable effective networking and are allocated on a first come first served basis.   Please note that tickets must be booked in advance and will not be available on the door.

This month, we are delighted to be welcoming Andrew Rough, CEO OF ACS (Advanced Clothing Solutions),Europe’s largest Circular Fashion Hub.

Andrew is the Chief Executive Officer of ACS, he joined the company in late 2009. Through this period, ACS has become the largest apparel rental and renewal operation in the UK as well as setting up the US business to its sale in August 2018.

Prior to joining ACS, Andrew held several financial and commercial positions in industry with both US listed and UK private companies. Prior to this, Andrew was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 after previously graduating from Edinburgh University with a BEng (Hons) Electrical & Mechanical Engineering in 1990.

In April of this year, ACS was one of the first ever recipients of the King’s Awards for Enterprise. Recognised as part of the Sustainable Development category, the prestigious accolade celebrates the company’s pioneering ambition to revolutionise the global fashion industry.

The following month, ACS won a Drapers Sustainable Fashion Award in the Recommerce category.  The judging was underpinned by the UN-backed Sustainable Development Goals, which address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change and environmental degradation.

Established in 1997, ACS provides circular fashion solutions enabling fashion brands and retailers the ability to join the circular economy.
