LinkedIn is THE business networking platform.  It’s also a major publishing platform and it’s the best place to find and connect with people who are relevant to you and your business.  Whether you’re operating in the B2B, B2C or Charity sector, LinkedIn will be useful to you because it connects people to people in a meaningful way.

Much has changed on LinkedIn since we last covered it at the March New Media Breakfast in 2018.  The last 18 months have seen an enormous rise in the number of monthly active users, but more importantly is the increase in daily active users.

We will be looking briefly at the essentials like optimising your profile and how the algorithm works.  However, the majority of the presentation will look at recent changes and new functionality.  We will look at the following:

  • Changes to Personal Profiles.
  • Social Selling – What it means and why it’s important.
  • Publishing Content – Best practice and increasing reach.
  • Articles – Are they worth considering?
  • Creating killer headlines.
  • Hashtags – Why they are important and best practice?
  • Finding relevant connections.
  • Business Pages – Why they are becoming more important
  • Groups – Are they still valuable?
  • Developing meaningful relationships

In addition to this, we will be sharing useful tips and some information about useful tools that can help you manage and build your LinkedIn presence.

We will also have time to answer your questions about LinkedIn during the Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

Of course like any platform, LinkedIn is only as useful as you make it, so we will be advising you on  what you need to do to optimise your LinkedIn personal profile and how to attract and engage with relevant people.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This will be a very useful session for anyone with a LinkedIn profile, especially those using it to try to find new connections and create meaningful engagement. The session will be presented in an easy-to-understand manner that will enable you to get the best from LinkedIn for you and your business in the future.

THE SPEAKER

Gordon White, Managing Director of fatBuzz Ltd will present this breakfast.
