MANAGING YOUR TAX BILL – TOP TAX TIPS WORKSHOP
‘In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.’ – Benjamin Franklin
If these are your sentiments, then you’re in good company— the words are those of the late Benjamin Franklin. It would be interesting to know what the great man would make of the numerous tax changes that have been pushed through the UK tax system over the last few Budgets. Not to mention the fact that the Scotland Act 2012 gave the Scottish Government the power to set a Scottish rate of income tax, the result of which is that some Scottish tax payers will pay more tax in 2017/2018 than their equivalents in the rest of the UK.
In these financially and politically turbulent times, it makes more sense than ever, to ensure that all legitimate and often simple tax planning opportunities are brought to your attention, to help you minimise your tax bill.
This interactive workshop with the award-winning Mazars Tax team will cover some simple tax planning tips to help companies and their owners legitimately reduce their tax bill & there will be Q & A. In addition, we will also highlight what Making Tax Digital will mean for you and your business. This is a revolutionary change in the tax world and it starts in April 2018.
