WeDO Scotland’s voice heard in Scottish Enterprise’s move towards developing a new programme of entrepreneurial talent support
We were delighted to be interviewed yesterday by Dr Ashley Stewart of Optimat who are conducting research on behalf of the Scottish Enterprise High Growth Ventures team. The team supports high growth start-up and early stage high growth companies in Scotland. The research is being carried out to assist with the planning of a new programme of entrepreneurial talent support products/projects aimed at entrepreneurial talent attraction, development and retention.
A wide range of questions were discussed including how the Scottish Enterprise Entrepreneurial Talent Support team can assist organisations in the entrepreneurial eco-system to widen their networks and develop the services these organisations offer to their networks as well as what gaps there are in the provision of entrepreneurial talent support available in Scotland.
It’s always positive to see public sector agencies such as Scottish Enterprise engaging with private sector organisations and we appreciate the opportunity to have had our voices heard. We look forward to seeing how these new programmes will enable us and other entrepreneur support companies to better engage with Scottish Enterprise and in turn offer more support to our members.
