The credibility of the WeDO Scotland Awards rests on the calibre, experience and independence of our Judges.
Our Judging Panels bring together highly respected entrepreneurs and business leaders with extensive experience of building, leading and growing successful businesses. They understand first-hand the realities of entrepreneurship and leadership – the difficult decisions, the setbacks, the risks and the determination behind sustained success.
Judging is rigorous, independent and based entirely on merit. Our Judges carefully review every application before selecting four finalists in each category, who are then invited to a face-to-face interview with the relevant Judging Panel.
They’re not simply looking for the biggest numbers or the most polished application. They want to understand the story behind the results: the decisions that made a difference, the challenges overcome, the impact created, the leadership demonstrated and the ambitions for the future.
It’s this depth of experience and scrutiny that makes being selected as a WeDO Scotland Awards finalist – and ultimately a winner – a significant achievement and a highly respected recognition of business success.
