Then, hear firsthand from inspiring entrepreneurs or topic experts who’ll spark new thinking and challenge the status quo.
Attendees describe these events as welcoming, energising, fun and invaluable for building the kind of network that actually moves your business forward. Non-members can attend 2 breakfasts maximum per annum.
We’re thrilled that the guests for our breakfast this month are Tim and Ali Purves of William Purves Funeral Directors. This Edinburgh based company was established in 1888 by a cabinetmaker turned undertaker from the Scottish Borders. It is today the largest, independent funeral business in Scotland, with a team of more than 120 staff across 27 branches in Scotland and northeast England and looking after around 3500 funerals each year.
The core company values of William Purves Funeral Directors are compassion, dedication, integrity and respect. Its business approach is shaped by these values, even as it has modernised and adapted to changes in the industry.
Tim Purves is the 5th generation to be the CEO, Chairman, and owner of William Purves Funeral Directors. He has recently been joined on the Board of Directors by his wife and fellow owner, Ali. After a time away from the formal workplace to raise their three children Ali now brings her varied experience alongside Tim to help steer the company in a newly regulated industry. The company continues to uphold core values of compassion, dedication, integrity, and respect and is trusted to regularly conduct many high-profile funerals, including the funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Both committed Christians, Tim & Ali’s faith is core to all they seek to be and do in life and business.
TICKET PRICE
The ticket price of £25 + VAT for members and £33 + VAT for non-members. The ticket price includes tea/coffee, fruit juice and a bacon roll or yoghurt with granola and berry compote. Please select your choice when booking your ticket.
A VAT invoice will be issued once you have booked your ticket. Please note that ticket sales end at 5pm on Wednesday 5th November.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Tickets can be cancelled and refunded by emailing [email protected]. We regret that any tickets cancelled after 2pm on Thursday 30th October will not be applicable for refunds for any reason. Tickets can be transferred to a different name until 2pm on Wednesday 5th November by emailing [email protected]
