ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
sponsored by Claymore Global Solutions
WINNER: Stuart Hunter of Advance Global Recruitment
“Winning Entrepreneur of the Year for 2014 at the WeDO Awards was absolutely fantastic. To have only been a member for just under a year and to win an award of this magnitude has really made me feel very proud. Since joining WeDO I feel I have matured a lot in business and this has been partly to do with the other members. WeDO is full of like-minded, ambitious and positive business people and this has really helped push me further. As a winner of this prestigious award I now feel it is my duty to spread the word about WeDO to more businesses like mine and help with the continual growth of such a fantastic and inspiration business. An Award such as this also recognises the work and effort put in by my co-founder Cameron Taylor and all of our staff, my thanks go to them for their loyalty, hard work and commitment.” Stuart Hunter.

WINNER: Martin Walker of Everycare Edinburgh
“I’m thrilled to bits to have been awarded this tremendous accolade, particularly when it has been evident that the field was so strong this year. I know that we?re doing good things and making a real difference and that is extremely rewarding on an emotional level. However, to have received recognition from my peers in the business community for what we have achieved means a great deal to me. Of course, none of it would have been possible without having a fantastic team around me, and I?d like to send a massive thank you to each and every one of them too” Martin Walker.

“It was an honour and a privilege to win New Start Business of the Year on Friday night especially against such great competition. The whole process has been an invaluable insight into our own business, as well as being very interesting to meet the other competitors and judges learning about theirs. I would highly recommend this process to everyone who is starting a new business, you need to stop every now and again, look up and see just how much you have achieved. It was a great night all round, and I would like to thank Belinda , the judging panel and all the WeDO Team who tirelessly give up their time to make events like this possible.” James Magee.
