Hatti Pattisson wins the 2015 Prestigious Textile Award
We’re delighted to hear that one of our Young members?Hatti Pattisson has won the Prestigious Textile Award in the Bradford Textile Society Awards. ?Hatti?began her career as an artist selling her expressive, emotive paintings aged 15 at The Pittenweem Arts Festival in The East Neuk of Fife where she grew up. ?A relatively new diversity for?Hatti has been introducing textiles to her already hugely popular repertoire. ?The range of lampshades, cushions and fabrics are printed with her signature floral and seascape scenes which really are stunning .
The textile range as well as her paintings are becoming more and more popular with an increasingly large client base stretching from the USA to Australia to Holland and throughout the UK. ?The world renowned 5 star restaurant and accommodation, The Three Chimneys on the Isle of Skye which features Hatti’s fabrics, cushions, lampshades and art in all of their rooms. ?A luxury hotel project is starting soon where guests will be able to luxuriate in a room filled with Hatti’s work.
Another major success story for Hatti has been her collaboration with Judy R Clark, the multi-award winning fashion designer, who amongst her many accolades, won the 2014 Scottish Fashion Designer of the Year Award. ?One of Judy’s beautiful pieces, the Bloom coat,?features Hatti’s art work which is digitally printed onto velvet. She and Hatti recently showcased the range at the womenswear trade show SUPER, Milan to huge acclaim.
As well as selling her paintings and a selection of prints at exhibitions and on her website, Hatti also regularly undertakes bespoke commissions on behalf of clients:
