Pike & Bambridge celebrate further team growth including WeDO Ambassador Jack Ogston joining as Chairman
WeDO members Pike & Bambridge who were runners up in our New Start Business of the Year 2012 are continuing to turn the wheels of growth at a great rate and have announced the latest recruits joining the P & B team.
“Jack Ogston has taken on the position of ?Chairman, and we look forward to working with him.” commented Piers Bambridge, co-founder of Pike & Bambridge along with Nathan Pike.
“Jack has a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked for over 35 years at the Clydesdale Bank in various positions, including being the head of the bank?s Corporate & Structured Finance Division in Scotland.?Whilst heading up the Scottish Corporate & Structured Finance Division, he was responsible for managing the bank?s largest customers and all of their Leveraged transactions. He then went on to be an ambassador for the Clydesdale Bank in 2009 to 2011 and has since then become an ambassador for WeDO Scotland, as well as Non Executive Advisor to various other organisations.
Beth Weir started working with Pike and Bambridge in March 2014 as our admin assistant. Since then she has been making sure that paperwork has been completed, signed and sent out to clients and suppliers. Originally from Devon in England, Beth is studying Sport and Exercise Science at Edinburgh Napier University and is about to start her second year.
Prior to working with Pike and Bambridge Beth was a Fitness Instructor at a local Gym. In her spare time Beth enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking and sea swimming, as well as playing for her university netball team.
Robyn McLaren is currently working at Pike & Bambridge as our Marketing Executive Intern, through the Adopt an Intern scheme. She started with us at the beginning of August. Since then she has been managing our various social media channels, as well as designing and redesigning some of our marketing materials.
She has also been updating our website with new content, and has suggested some helpful changes to the design of our website. She has recently graduated after studying English and Film BA Hons at Edinburgh Napier University for four years. Prior to working with us, she worked as a Marketing Assistant at a family run marketing business for two years. ?In her spare time she likes to walk her Border Terrier Watson with her Fianc?, bake and read.”
