The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship seeks companies to participate in their Honours Year course: Venture Management in Practice
The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship is currently looking for companies (including not for profit) in the Glasgow area to participate in our Honours Year course: Venture Management in Practice.
The Venture Management in Practice Course provides final year Business Enterprise students with the chance to explore what it is really like managing an entrepreneur-managed business ? and to explore the issues that affect business success. This happens through a ?feel, taste and touch? oriented process where individual students work for businesses on a specific and focused business development and growth oriented project.
The placement provides local entrepreneurial businesses with the opportunity to gain a fresh insight and a fresh pair of eyes to addressing some of the issues that challenge the growth of their business. The project adds value through getting the students to address real issues in real businesses. Students assist entrepreneurs to address issues and problems that are identified as being important to the growth and development of the business, but which have not been addressed usually because of the lack of time or resources. At the end of the placement students will hand over a final report to the company.
Important information:
? Initial meeting: Thursday 25th September
? Placement dates: 7th October to 9th December (Every Tuesday for 10 weeks)
? Final Presentations: Tuesday 16th December
